Fall and winter are definitely my thing.The festivity of the holidays, winter sunsets, hot chocolate, snuggling under mounds of blankets – I love it all! 

However, I must admit, on mornings when you wake up to temperatures in the 20s, making it difficult to climb out of bed, its nice to think back to warmer times. So since we are facing a very cold week here in St. Louis, I wanted to take a moment to look back to Sara + Bryce’s late summer engagement session. Sunshine, greenery, and two people in love – what could be better!

Sara + Bryce are planning their September 2019 wedding and could not be more excited to be married! We first met them during Jess and Johanna’s wedding in 2017, and were thrilled when they contacted us about photographing their own. They are both very kind and down-to-earth people, and we loved getting to know them more during their session. Sara + Bryce have been together for a long time and you can tell they already have a deep love and commitment to each other, which definitely showed through in their pictures! We had a great time with them. Not only did we have amazing evening light, we even had a friendly bumble bee that kept wanting to visit Sara’s ring among the flowers! I squealed in excitement over this as you can imagine. We spent some time in the park and then headed over to Blueberry Hill in the Loop where they had their first date 🙂
